Cincinnati Zoo

The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is the second oldest zoo in the country and earned the award for USA Today's Reader's Choice best zoo in the nation. It is home to a wide variety of animals including the world's most famous hippo, Fiona. During the holiday season, they host the “PNC Festival of Lights,” hanging 4 million lights every year. Newport Aquarium

Located just across the river in Newport, Kentucky, the Newport Aquarium is home to many unique creatures, including the albino alligators Snowflake and Snowball. “Shark Central” is a 5,000-gallon exhibit where you can touch a variety of shark species. Cincinnati Reds / Bengals

Bengals games are a Cincinnati staple, packed with passionate fans and great seats at Paul Brown Stadium. Findlay Market

Findlay Market is Ohio's oldest operating market. Located in Over-the-Rhine, it holds over 50 vendors who sell ethnic foods, meat, fish, coffee, plants, and everything in between. Parks, Breweries & Museums

Cincinnati has some great parks to explore, including Smale Riverfront Park and Ault Park. The city's craft beer scene is thriving, with well-known breweries like Rhinegeist and MadTree. For culture, visit the Contemporary Arts Center or the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal, which holds three different museums.

Food

Cincinnati is known for many unique food choices — Skyline Chili, LaRosa's Pizza, Graeter's Ice Cream (founded in Cincinnati in 1868), and goetta, a German-inspired breakfast sausage native to the city. These are all must-tries while in Cincinnati!
